Terms of Use
Last updated: May 2026
1. General Information
Turlio is an online booking platform operated by a sole proprietor based in Türkiye, making tourist experiences in Dubai and the UAE accessible to travelers. By using this website (the "Site") or making a booking, you accept the following Terms of Use.
Services provided by us are subject to Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, Turkish Electronic Commerce Law No. 6563, Distance Sales Regulation, and UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection applicable where the service is rendered.
All services are provided through licensed local suppliers operating in the UAE.
2. Service Provider Status
Turlio is an online booking platform that acts as an intermediary between users and licensed local tour, transfer, and ticket providers. In this scope, Turlio:
- Is not a package tour organizer (not within the scope of Turkish Package Tour Regulation)
- Operates with the status of a service intermediary
- Provides an electronic platform to book services offered by third-party suppliers
Pursuant to UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020) Art. 4(2), all essential features of the service you reserve (price, scope, inclusions/exclusions, cancellation terms) are clearly stated on the product page and cart screen prior to contract.
3. Booking and Payment
All prices are displayed in AED (UAE Dirham) and include 5% VAT. Payments are processed securely through Stripe infrastructure protected by 256-bit SSL. Your credit card details are not stored on our servers.
Upon successful payment, booking confirmation, e-voucher and invoice are automatically sent to your email address. Bringing your e-voucher with you on the tour/activity day is sufficient.
Automatic group discounts apply for tour bookings of 4 or more people (4+ pax 5%, 6+ pax 10%, 8+ pax 15%). Group discount applies only to tour products and does not cover ticket and transfer products.
4. Withdrawal Right Exclusion — Legal Notice
Important legal notice: The services we offer — tours, transfers, and activity tickets — are leisure and recreation services that must be performed on a specific date or in a specific period.
Pursuant to Article 15/1-g of the Turkish Distance Sales Regulation: "Contracts for accommodation, transport of goods, car rental, food and beverage supply, and leisure or recreational activities to be performed on a specific date or in a specific period" are excluded from the consumer's right of withdrawal.
For this reason, the 14-day statutory withdrawal right does not apply to products you purchase. Instead, product-specific cancellation and modification policies apply.
This exclusion is set forth in parallel with Article 16(l) of EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU for EU Member State citizens.
5. Cancellation and Modification Policy
Each product on Turlio has its own cancellation and modification terms. You can view a product's cancellation policy on its detail page and on the cart screen. Product-specific policy details are also included in your confirmation email.
General rules:
- ✓Most tours offer free cancellation and date change up to 24 hours before activity start.
- ✓You can easily submit cancellation or modification requests via the My Reservations page.
- !Some ticket products (theme parks, observation decks, etc.) may be non-refundable. This information is clearly stated on the product page.
- !Cancellation terms for transfer services may vary based on vehicle type and timing.
You can review detailed cancellation and modification terms of each product on the product page prior to purchase.
Approved refunds are credited back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. The refund amount may be full or partial depending on the product's cancellation policy.
6. Free Transfer Promotion
When your cart subtotal (excluding transfer) reaches 3,000 AED or above, one-way sedan transfer is provided free of charge. At 4,500 AED or above, round-trip sedan transfer is free.
If one or more products are cancelled after the order and the remaining total falls below the threshold, the free transfer benefit is automatically withdrawn and transfer fee is updated.
