Aquaventure World at Atlantis The Palm runs across 22.5 hectares, which makes it the largest water park in the Middle East — and with over 105 slides and attractions it's also held a Guinness record for the sheer count. The drops start at the 48-meter Trident Tower, the tallest in the park; from there you can swim a shark lagoon, drift the long lazy river, or send younger kids to the Splashers area built just for them. A full day pass gets you every slide and pool, the private Atlantis beach that runs about a kilometre, and entry to the Lost Chambers Aquarium. Plan on the whole day — there's more here than you can ride in an afternoon.
